About

I’m Poul Waligora, Colorist and Finishing Artist.

I was born in a small town in southwest Poland in 1988. Every Saturday morning, national TV aired a travel show, and I’d sit watching with flushed cheeks and wide eyes. That’s when the dream of distant places first took root.

Back then, there was just one old cinema and a local VHS rental shop. My family and I began watching movies together on VHS. It was pure magic. We had an old color CRT TV — maybe 20 or 23 inches at most — but to me, it felt like a window to another world. I remember every scene, every frame. But most of all, I remember the feeling of the picture. Now I know that feeling came from color — but back then, it was pure magic to me. The emotions were so vivid, they stayed with me. That’s when I fell in love with motion pictures — a love that never left.

Today, I work as a colorist and finishing artist. I bring films to life through color, detail, and precision — shaping the final feel of documentaries, narratives, and television. Every project is a chance to relive that original spark and help others experience the same wonder I felt in front of that little CRT screen.
