This recognition is well deserved – not only for the film’s high artistic and narrative quality, but also for the years of dedication and courage Magda has poured into her films. Esaro addresses the painful and often silenced issue of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), a reality still affecting many communities in Africa.

Color and Finishing by Wild Lion Media – I had the privilege of leading the color grading, picture finishing, and final master delivery for Esaro. Our goal was to preserve the emotional honesty of the story while ensuring the images carried both visual depth and technical precision for festival projection and broadcast presentation.
